The latter — issue 19 will be posted on the website as soon as it’s been superseded by issue 20. That’s the current policy anyway — no doubt it can be tweaked if the membership/committee demand it!

Thanks for the clarificaion, Polly. Just out of interest, at what point does this newsletter cease to be “cutting edge”? Is there a rolling release at a set point, or will 19 only be released on the web when 20 is published by email?

The absence of the latest newsletter from the BES website is deliberate — only subscribers get the cutting-edge news! But the labelling of 2007’s newsletter as 2008 is my chronological incompetence: thanks for alerting me to it.
